STAY ORGANIZED:

Going back to school is tough...you need to start waking up early and going to bed at a reasonable time. What better way to make you feel prepared and better than being organized? Color code things, label everything, keeping everything neat and in order!

MAKE NOTES ALL YEAR:

The best way to stay ready for exams and tests is to make notes in each class and file them in that subjects folder. That way, when it comes to study, you just need to revise!!

DONT STRESS:

School is stressful and sometimes you don't get enough sleep. All of that can lead to stress. My previous blog spoke about how to destress. But all is needed is a cup of tea and a study break. Maybe read a book, or color or draw, listen to music, watch a tv show or a movie. Just do something that will calm you down. Taking a walk or exercising is good too!

GET ENOUGH SLEEP:

Sleep is very important during school times, and just in general! Maybe make a sleeping schedule or download an app to track your sleeping patterns. Try not be on your phone half an hour before you sleep as it will help calm your mind. If you have trouble sleeping, try herbal remedies or download a meditation app, or even put calming music on.

EAT HEALTHY AND DRINK WATER:

Water and healthy foods to keep you going through the school day are a MUST. The healthy meals will give you more energy than the unhealthy meals will i promise. Always keep a water bottle with you to stay hydrated and awake. You'll find that if you eat healthy and drink water, you'll focus better and feel good throughout the day!

5 Ways I De-Stress!

Life can throw many curveballs and sometimes you don't get enough sleep, the school or workload is just too much or other bad things. When things like this happen, people do tend to over stress and freak out. Which is not good for your mental or physical well-being. 

So in this blog i will be listing 5 ways i calm down and de-stress!

1: DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE

When i'm sad or just having a really off day, i like to do what i love. And that is reading, writing, drawing and exercise.
I usually do exercise every day or when i have the opportunity to do so, but when i'm angry i like boxing. I have a boxing bag outside by my pool and i let all my anger out there. You can't bottle up emotions verbally or physically because eventually it will all come out in a bad way that no one wants.

2: LISTEN TO MUSIC

I can't go one day without listening to at least one song...so when i'm in a bad space i like listening to music that will make me feel better or even just hype and happy music to get my spirits up. It can be any song or artist you like, as long as it makes you feel better!

3: MAKE A WARM DRINK

My go-to drinks for when i'm stressed or down are:

1) Lemon and honey in water. This also helps when feeling sick but it does give you a calm and relaxed mindset. I wouldn't recommend drinking this every day, as too much lemon in your body can be bad for you because of the acidity. 

2) Chamomile tea with honey and a cinnamon stick. This is more of a night-time drink before bed but you can have it whenever you feel like. All you do is put however many teaspoons of honey, instead of sugar, and leave a cinnamon stick in the drink for that festive warm feeling.

3) Warm milk. Sometimes warm milk is the best thing before bed. Its got a soothing texture to it. You can make it luke-warm, it can be made with goats milk or almond milk if you cant have dairy.

I wouldn't recommend drinks with high caffeine in them as that will only make you more alert and mess with your anxiety levels when you want to just relax.

4: FIND A WAY TO LAUGH

Usually when i'm sad i go onto YouTube and i watch these twins called Ethan and Grayson Dolan. They post funny content but can get serious at times, they have also posted a few inspirational talk videos which a lot of people are able to relate to. The creators on YouTube that make me laugh, and hopefully than can make you laugh too are:

6) The Gabbie Show

5: BINGE WATCHING

If you have nothing to do that day, and you're not feeling up to much. binge watch your fave show or start a new one. Doesn't have to be a comedy. It can literally be any show that you can sit on the couch with popcorn and just chill out...okay maybe no horrors! 

In my next blog i will be listing my fave TV shows that i have watched/currently watching.

A good show to laugh with is Friends. It never fails to put a smile on my face!

Halsey...Cocaine addict?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, or better known by her stage name, Halsey, was caught on camera sniffing an unknown substance on a yacht in Miami. 

The singer was enjoying a relaxed break with boyfriend and fellow singer, G-Eazy and a few close friends. She seemed to be having the time of her life...until she was caught sniffing, what seemed to be, cocaine from a spoon.


No one is 100% sure that it was cocaine, or any other drug, however, it does look pretty convincing.

The singer has not addressed the situations and has not confirmed what the substance was. She's leaving everyone guessing and confused.

After the incident, Halsey didn't actually seem to care about what everyone was saying about her. She continued her well deserved holiday and posted pictures on instagram to prove it.


Halsey posted a picture of boyfriend, G-Eazy with the caption: You're the best part.



The next two photos were uploaded to her Instagram story taken by G-Eazy, showing off her gorgeous outfit and flow-y hat. She definitely does not seemed phased in these pictures at ALL.


However, when the pair arrived back in LAX, Halsey did not look okay. It could be because she's jet-lagged, but it really looked like something was wrong. Take a look at the photos below:

Her rapper beau did not seem happy either, he kept his head low and did not express any emotions. 


Later on, everything seemed back to normal when the couple were spotted courtside at the LA Clippers NBA game. 



The pair shared videos and pictures on their Instagram stories throughout the night and even went on the court after the game to greet some VIP'S.



All in all it seemed as if they had a great night, they even showed up on the big screen!



The two seemed to enjoy their night by laughing, shouting for whichever team they wanted to win and sharing food.


Whether the allegations are true and Halsey did sniff cocaine, it is her issue and no one else's to deal with. Drug abuse is a very serious matter and hopefully she seeks medical help. 

Halsey is a talented singer with a great voice and confidence, lets hope she doesn't go down any bad roads...
